Blue Like Jazz

The Second Chance

What did you think of those, Hardkore. The Second Chance is one of my all-time favorite movies. Blue Like Jazz, much like the book, seemed very disjointed to me.

I saw Blue Like Jazz when it was in theaters (a neighborhood theater about 10 minutes from my house which is known for showing independent films showed it briefly). Good movie, and definitely a bit different (not that you'd expect anything less from Steve Taylor).

I've never heard of The Second Chance so I can't comment on that.

Right now I'm watching the 30th anniversary edition of E.T. in glorious 1080p HD (Blu-Ray).

I know it is weird but here lately I have been getting into the Criminal Minds tv series. I am not into the serial killers aspect but the characters and How they solve and profile the cases is cool. Besides that Spencer Reed is just to smart you have to like him lol. I know I do have a warped side I guess!!!

I liked them both. I can kinda see where BLJ is kinda disjointed yet it worked out in the end.

I used to watch Criminal Minds but moved away from it. It is kinda disturbing realizing that there are really people like that in the world.

Ya I know I do not like that part of it!

Hachi.

The thouching story of a Japanse dog.
After the sudden death of his boss, Hachi has been waiting many years at the station for his boss coming home with the train.
The poor dog didn't knew his boss pasted away.

Yes, I was deeply thouched by the faith of Hachi for his boss.
Tomorrow I'm watching Marley & Me.

I'm very interested to know what The Second Change and Blue Like Jazz are for movies.
Are both "Christian" movies?
My big problem is a lot of the Christian movies you can watch in the US are not translated or not to order here.

Sons of Anarchy, Big bang Theory, Burn Notice, Suits and Duck Dynasty are our favorite shows...we never miss them.

I may rent 'Thats My Boy" (Adam Sandler) tonight. I recently saw Snow White and The Huntsman. I also have been watching all The Resident Evil Movies.

Very cool indeed, and I got my disc this week.

Tried to watch Facing The Giants via the laptop on the TV.
Have to try it again, for me it's simple to read the English subtitles.

Finishing up the several hours of bonus features on the ET 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray. Well worth the price if you like the film.
