Someone made a movie out that random book? Or is it a real story with the same title?

It's based on the book, but I haven't seen it or read the book yet though I've owned it for years.

I read the book several years ago, and from what I remember it seemed more like a collection of observations just kind of compiled into a book.

Super 8 - fun kids movie though the dialog was a bit coarse.

The movie, while telling a full story, kind of feels like random observations. It's a hard movie to watch as the book was to make people think and not just entertain. So, the movie does the same things. If you like to watch Christian movies with your kids, you might want to rethink this as there are a lot of sexual situations and language as this really attempts to show what life at Reed College was like for Miller when he was there.

We've been watching that new show "The American Bible Challenge" hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. I'm tellin' ya, if you haven't watched it, give it a chance, it is REALLY great. It's clever, funny and at the end of each show you realize that you need to hit your Bible some more.

Unconditional
It is the tale of two childhood friends who God brings back together through some unusual circumstances. While being a movie with great acting and a great story (one that is true, at that), this movie shows the power of God working in people's lives. I think for a faith-based movie that you will agree that the standard in this type of film has been greatly raised. I enjoyed this even more than The Avengers.
