Last night my boys and I watche the 1952 Disney film The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men. Not bad for an early 50's Disney film.

Bummer, but still I'm a little shocked it lasted as long as it did. Most shows I like get canned at the end of the first season (or sooner)

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011,the American remake)

Good movie,I had already seen the original Swedish version and can tell you they are very similar. The pacing and style is about the same. The remake even uses some of the same locations in filming. While they are similar they are also different in a few aspects. I have heard one is more faithful to the book just can't remember which.

On another note,I heard something else. In the remake towards the beginning,He (Daniel Craigs character) is in a coffee shop. The girl that works there that pours him some is the daughter of the guy that played the same character in the original version/trilogy in real life

It wasn't overly graphic in violence/exposed body parts. At first he does something that knocks her out then chains her to the bed face down. Plus before that ,in another scene, it was just a matter of the right camera angle to hide anything showing yet you would know what was happening. Later in the movie the two main characters do get together consensually twice.
