Oh man that's a lot of Godzilla.
Last week I watched Avatar, not bad.....but it seemed a little too long (and some of the language was terrible).

Well that can pretty much be expected from a James Cameron film.

The movie. I had heard that Dwight Shultz was supposed to have a cameo in it but I didn't see him. Yet I did see where they had one of his other characters (Reginald Barclay) represented in the movie. I guess that is supposed to be like an Easter Egg.
Hmmm,I was right ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reginald_Barclay
Quote :
The 2010 film The A-Team contains a reference to Reginald Barclay as a fictional cast member of a fake movie created by the team during one of their plans. This is an in-joke use to refer to Schultz, who played Murdock in the original A-Team TV series.
In a post credits scene, original series actors Dirk Benedict (Face) and Dwight Schultz (Murdock) have a cameo with their film equivalents Bradley Cooper and Sharlto Copley. Benedict plays Face's fellow tanning bed client and Schultz plays a neurologist who examines Murdock.

Did it have any of the humor of the orginal t.v. series, or was it more of a serious action flick?

It definitely had the humor. The relation between B.A. and Murdoch was spot on.

I've been watching the first season of the A Team with my son. I was afraid that they would appear too cheesy by now, but the hold up well. They really were pretty good.
And my son picked up on the fact of Dwight Schultz's portrayal of Murdock being an influence on Jim Carrey's acting style. Methinks Mr. Carrey was a big A-Team fan.

Well in the last 3 days I've been to see two films! Haven't been to the cinema in ages, so 2 in such a short space of time is awesome!!!!
Toy Story 3. Really good film, lots of action, lots of laughs. The storyline is well thought out and the new characters are done brilliantly (especially Ken). The only bad thing was that it was in 3D which never really works for me. Everytime I see a 3D film I end up being slightly disappointed, even though this one was probably the best that I've seen it still felt like 2D most of the time and slightly blurry at other times. The animated short at the start was also in 3D but that was great! Other than the 3D issue and that it may be a little bit scary for young kids it was really enjoyable. Better than Toy Story 2 and equal to Toy Story 1.
Rating 8 out of 10
Inception. Excellent film. Probably in my top 20 all time favourite films. Basically a guy can get into peoples dreams and change how that person thinks - he can sow changes in their minds. At one point he was in a dream in a dream in a dream in a dream!!!!! It's a good idea for a film and it was created and executed brilliantly. Lots of special effects, but done in such a way that it's not overkill. Nice little twist at the end too. It is, as people have said, very similar in style to The Matrix, but I personally think that it's not quite as good (The Matrix was pretty much incredible from start to finish). Definitely one for film of the year, maybe even the best film I've seen since Return Of The King in 2003.
Rating 9 out of 10
Two great films

Watching Season 4 of the science fiction series "The 4400" on dvd. I don't think I would recommend it. The first two seasons were actually pretty good, but they went down hill fast. (I guess that's why there isn't a 5th season).
