Unknown (since G/F had said on FB it was cool and surprising). And it was if you've never seen The Bourne Identity (trilogy), which I enjoyed. Unknown had too many similarities to that.
I watched that on Monday night. I agree that it was similar in feel to the Bourne series. I haven't seen the last in the Bourne trilogy, though.
Either way, I thought this was a decent flick for the $1 I paid from the Redbox machine.

I think all 3 Bourne movies are good. The last one left it open for another, which apparently also follows the books. I discovered there were indeed more Bourne books written, but it was a different writer and the reviews aren't favorable.

And if you like action flicks like Bourne and Unknown, you may enjoy Salt as well.

Planet of the Apes
Pretty cool. Much better idea, story and effects than the 70s movies.

Yesterday The Prince And Me part I Today The Prince And Me part II. Not a guy movie. it's more a movie for women, it's a bit romantic.

I am Number Four.
The Thing from another world (1951) ~http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thi..._Another_World
I had heard and even read at that wiki page that John Carpenter's 1982 version called The Thing is a remake of this film. I will say not so.
In this we see the beginning when the ship is found in the ice. We even see them digging the ice to get the body out ,pulling the block of ice into the camp and the ice ends up melting allowing the thing to do it's bidding. Even tho' this has a definite ending to it, Carpenter looked at it as if it didn't and then continued the story in The Thing ('82).
Eventually we can say the the '82 version is a sort of continuation of the '51 Thing. Thus with this new Thing coming out this October that shows them locating the ship and body, hauling the block of ice back to camp and the ice melting, I would say this Thing (2011) is actually basically a remake of the '51 Thing.

I re-watched the '82 Thing last week to refresh my memories to notice stuff.

Gulliver's Travels with Jack Black
PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not watch this waste of a movie... I feel dumbed down from subjecting myself to this (Not my fault though, my wife wanted to see it)
