| Our quiet country town likes to have days where people come in from Nashville by train to visit here and experience some southern hospitality. Today, people were coming in to have a visit with Santa. The local chamber of commerce contacted me by a friend to see if I would play St. Nick. Well, seeing that I still have my Santa suit from my old community theater days, I reluctantly said I would. I dreaded this day coming. I just knew that my typical Grinchiness would kick in and ruin this for everyone. But, I forgot that Christmas is all about sharing love and joy--especially with children. So, one by one they came and poured out what they wanted for Christmas and had their pictures made with Santa. The proceeds from the photo sales was going to help fund our local angel tree. Needless to say, I had a blast and actually felt similar to the Grinch--my heart grew 3 sizes today. These are two girls from my Campus Life outreach that I do on Monday nights. They knew Santa was me, but they wanted their picture made just the same. Sweet girls, really. Wish I had a houseful just like 'em. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| If fits you good to be Santa. Good to make the kids happy. Hope there are no Grinch moods for you this Christmas.
Now, what is it that Santa himself wants for Christmas?

| 1. How many kids went wee-wee on you?
2. Did you have to utter the infamous line, "You'll shoot your eye out"?
3. Stop worrying about your 'Grinchiness', it's genetic.

| I had no wee-wee incidents, fortunately.
I did not get to use the line from "The Christmas Story". Kids just don't want bb guns anymore. It's all about laptops now.
What does Santa want? Mostly books and movies. I have pretty much anything I need. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I played Santa for our town again tonight. With the weather being much colder, we did not have near the crowd. But, that did allow me to take more time with the kids. So, even though I am chilled to the bone, my heart is warm from getting to play with the kids.

| Actually, we had no potty emergencies on either day. The smaller babies that might have that issue were too scared to sit with Santa for their photo to be made.

| It makes you happy to be a kid with the kids. My kids always tell me I'm the biggest kid of my family. | |
