I will have to get the Victor Griffin disc as well. It kinda reminded me of my "Show Me The Way " album.

I said it on the other forum so I'll say it here as well since you're talking about In-Graved ...
musically I enjoyed it but I was very disappointed lyrically. Lyrics are not like Place of Skulls albums I have.... no specific references to God.. etc.. not bad but not up to my standard.
just thought I would put it out there in case anyone else has a lyrical standard similar to mine.. that I would encourage you to read lyrics before you purchase.
no offense to Victor Griffin as he is a great man of God.

Maybe that's why he didn't make it a Place of Skulls album.

Dude, seriously....An album doesn't have to have direct references to God in every song or even any song to be a Christian album. Some times a good album will be an album filled with Christian worldview lyrics. Personally I enjoy that the most. I say this out of love man but sometimes I question how close your "standards" get to legalism. Remember man, we are led by the spirit and not under law now.

MY SILENT WAKE - THE ANATOMY OF MELANCHOLY http://whitethronereviews.blogspot.com/2013/04/my-silent-wake-anatomy-of-melancholy.html
For those who want blantant lyrical content you might want to steer clear of this one... on the other hand you should grab the latest from Grave Declaration.... a review forthcoming.... symphonic black metal... that is really good.... and I'm not a big fan of that genre....

I do wonder what the differences are on this re-issue....
I am happy with the original release, so not sure I want to get the reissue.

Just listening to a few samples from youtube (in regards to the original release) the newer issue sounds brighter and punchier. I just found that the sound is more energetic if you catch my meaning....
More definition of sound....

It depends.... a lot of folks complained about the production on the first album which was pretty raw.... so if that is a turnoff, grab the newest release.
The live tracks are mostly from the first album but do sound better on the production end of things.. plus the extra tracks are kinda cool....
I think I'd actually get the new album first, but just realize that some of the tunes are repeated in different versions...
