| I had a lot of trouble getting into this band. He has a voice similar to Mac Powell which isn't a bad thing, but it sounds like he's having a lot of trouble staying on pitch, especially on harmonies. Another thing that kinda bugged me was sometimes it sounded like the drummer was off beat or he and the guitar player just weren't on the same page. Its not really too bad, but I don't think I'll be picking it up anytime soon. | |

| Hmm I've only listened to the first two songs, but they didn't sound that off to me. It does sound like something is missing but that could just be production. I actually like it at first listen. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| After second listen, it wasn't so much the lead vocalist, but it was more the background vocals. The harmonization didn't really seem to match up at times. It probably has a lot to do with production. Another thing that kind of annoys me is when he slides between notes, like when he hits a sustained note and then slides down to the next pitch. I don't know, maybe Im just setting my expectations too high. Come to think of it, I DID listen to it right after listening to RED lol | |

| The music is pretty good, and I like the vocalist. But, those background harmonies just plain suck. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| The music rocks, the voice of the vocalist is cool too, but I agree with you, I miss something. Something to work on for Fighting Forward - the background vocals. | |

| Finally Third Day puts out a rockin album. Alright, seriously this stuff isn't bad. Does kind of give you a taste of what Third Day would sound like if the went harder. As far as the background vocals, I'll listen again but they didn't seem to be that bad. Was it because they seemed to be not as loud?. Will probably put this on my want list but I'm waiting for the release of some others first | |

| On a couple of the songs, the background singers who sound like they are TRYING to harmonize are definitely not in key.

| Listening again, I think I gotta agree that the background vocals seem to be the weakest link. Eventhough the guitar or bass (or maybe both) sound kind of "muddy" Despite that I still think it sounds pretty cool, just not perfect by any means. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... I agree. I still think that could be fixed with a little studio magic. It souds like they recorded it in a home studio. | |

That's certainly what it sounds like. If this had album had some bigger budget production (and some better backing vocals) the band could be top contender IMO. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| It sounds like at times he tried to do his own background vocals and just record it on another track. | |
