| Here is a list of Progressive Rock/Metal bands...some are a little rough around the edges, but some are musical geniuses. Not every band plays exclusively Progressive, so I've listed the release of that band that is progressive. -Darkwater (Rock/Metal mix) -Divine in Sight (Rock) -Neal Morse (Rock) -Amaran's Plight (Rock) -Fall Of Echoes (Rock) -Jeff Scheetz (Rock/Metal mix instrumental) -Ted Leonard (Rock) -Visual Cliff (Rock) -Kerry Livgren (Rock) -David Wallimann (Rock) -Flagship (Rock) -Orphan Project (Rock) -Proto Kaw (Rock) -America Gomorrah (Rock) -Tourniquet (Metal/Thrash) -Aletheia - On Learning In Wartime (hard rock) -Twin Fusion (hard Rock) -Glass Hammer (rock) -Iona (Celtic rock) -Ajalon (rock) -Amaseffer (metal) -Ascension Theory (rock) -Eterna (rock/metal) -Magnitude 9 (metal) -Menahem (metal) -Navigator (rock) -Revelation Project (rock) -Salem Hill (rock) -Theocracy (metal) -Vertical Alignment (rock) -Wingdom (metal) -Souljourners (rock) Hope this helps. | |

| I like a little progressive rock and metal, but not much. Just not my thing. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I used to listen to Souljourners quite a bit, cool group. What exactly is the difference between a rock or metal group that's "progressive" than one that's not? | |

| I have albums from a few bands on that list, oddly enough I am not a huge fan of progressive rock (or metal). I'm probably just to simple to get into much of the time changes etc. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
