For those of you that have discussing classic rock here is a band from my part of the world that plays a very cool sounding "Classic Christian Rock" as they describe it.

The deep and passionate songs written with whispering similarities of Bob Dylan, How about the thundering bass and drums from bands like Led Zepplin or the Doors? There is a pretty cool parody/cover tune on their player called "Sweet Jehova" done to the tune of Aerosmiths "Sweet Emotion"

Yes I kinda dig it too. Might have to look around and see if they are doing a show somewhere near me anytime soon.

It does look as if the parody song might just be a one-off sort of thing. Most of the rest of their stuff looks to be original.

True dat, what an idiot that Staybrite character is huh? (maybe we should call him Staydim).

But seriously, I was refering to their recorded music. According to what I can see on their Myspace page it looks like they only have an EP. There are four songs on their myspace player. And from what I can tell only one of them is a parody/remake. So if those are the only songs on their EP, there is only one parody tune. I can imagine when they play live they might do all kinds of them. But hey what do I know.

The first song is not so cool.
The other songs I like much more.

Sweet Jehova is a cool song.
From what band was the original song from?

Yes that is correct the original song was "Sweet Emotion" (from way back in the 1970's if memory serves me correctly)
