WHAT HAPPENED?????

I have been a fan of Krystal Myers since her debut CD came out a few years ago. She has released two pretty decent punp/pop CDs that have done well. I think her message was aimed more at youth, but still I liked her music and songwriting.

Well, until now. She has a new CD coming out in September. She has changed her look and sound COMPLETELY! Instead of rocking out, she is going more in a pop/dance style of music more akin to Britny Spears. Because of the musical direction, I won't bother buying this.

Go to her MySpace page and listen to the first couple of songs--if you can stomach them.

Sorry, Krystal. There comes a point when you just have to decide what you like and dislike. I don't like the new musical direction. So, don't be upset that I'm going to skip this CD. Hopefully, you'll come back to the rock later on.

My want list is now one title SHORTER!!!

I'm glad that she's continuing to serve the Lord with her music. But, she has got to realize that some fans are just not going to continue with her with a major style change. We know what we like, and I am not going to buy a new disc from an artist just because I've supported them in the past. If they leave us musically, then why should we be required to follow them around? It ain't gonna happen.

I don't even remember any of her previous music, but the dance/pop on her myspace site holds no interest for me.
