christian heavy/hard with female vocals???

i have been listening to a lot of music on youtube and i have started to like heavy music with female volcalist. dont get me wrong, theres just something about the beauty of the music an the voice. and its not anything wierd, i just like it.

anyways, i really like Sirenia, but i dont think that ghey are christian. i could be wrong though.

First of all welcome to CHM Brian, glad to have you hear.

I agree, I don't think that Sirenia is a Christian group, but that is a good song.
I don't think there are many Christian bands in this style, but there are a few.

wow. i realy like H.B i remember when my wife and i were at lifest in oshgosh, WI and we saw Skillet at 1:00A.m and it was awsome. ohh, and my wife was 6 months pregnent at the time Smile

anyways, what this is coming to is that they were starting to perform songs off of the then new comatose cd, and the korey, talented piano, guitarist was singing and i thought that she had an awsome voice, and would be exactly like the style of music i am searching for. dont get me wrong, i think that johns voice is among the best out there, i just think his wife voice is also fenominal, and should be explored.

and kudos to jen for the awsome drummin!!!

If you're wanting heavy and symphonic, HB is the only one I know of though Fountain of Tears could be close. I didn't listen to the video you linked though.

Next closest is Voice of Glass who is awesome and I'd also check out Venia, Aava, Drachen, Rejuvenation and Seven Angels.

If you want just plain hard or modern rock type as well, there are many others.

Wow, both of those are cool.That vid of HB is kinda trippy, I like it. I may have to try and find the disc for both of them.
