YEAH MAN!!! From the shirts, I was guessing you guys had a punk vibe. I love that style. Other than The Crucified and the first OBP album, not too many in the Christian scene ever really captured the raw feel of the true stuff.

We had recordings on cassettes of some of our "songs".

When I accepted Christ about a year after those pix, I had burned all my secular music, mags, posters, etc.... and my "No Remorse" tape.

I have no regrets for my offer to the Lord of all the secular trash, and would do it again in a heartbeat... but I sometimes wish I woulda kept the NR tape.
It was kinda comedy. We were trying to be all serious, but we knew there was only one band member that had any true talent... the lead guitarist Eddie (the one sticking his tongue out). The rest of us were wanabees.
It sure was fun though... we made our neighbors crazy !

Yeah, we favored Minor Threat with influences from The Descendents, TSOL, Raw Power, Suicidal Tend, DRI... and we liked stop and start again riffs like early Metallica / Megadeth stuff.

Too bad we didn't have more ability.

Original Lineup:
Jim -bass, rhythm, vox
Eddie -Lead guitar
John -Drums
Dylan -rhythm, lead (in front)

Dylan was shot and killed about 3 years after that pic. A crazed guy on heroin "saw a demon flying around" so he chased it all the way to where Dylan was on the side of the road fixing his car. The guy "saw the demon fly into Dylan" and he shot him in the back of the head.
Needless to say I was devastated. and as a new Christian I beat myself up for not witnessing to him more before that happened.

Second Lineup:
Jason -Lead vox
Eddie -Lead guitar
Jim -Bass

Not sure where Eddie is today, but Jason quit using when he accepted Christ around 4 years after the picture. I got to help him burn all his paraphenalia and cruddy music.

Wild times.

I was just being silly with a couple of kids at church several weeks ago. One of the girls took my picture with her cell phone.
