Quote :: Tykküs would like to thank everyone out there who has followed and supported the band. After nearly 5 years of headbanging, gigging and touring, we have decided to part ways.

The Myspace site will be maintained for the time being, perhaps we'll even post some of the new songs that we started recording in early 2007. Justin, Brian and Dale all maintain their personal Myspaces so be sure to add them as friends and say hi.

Again, thanks to all the fans who made this band what it was. We had a blast.

Yeah, I would have liked to have gotten a full length CD out of them. They were great traditional metal with a strong Christ-centered message.

Only one album of Tykkus is not enough.
I would love to hear a second full length album too.
That makes two people who would love a full length album.
It's always sad when it's ends like this way with bands.

Me too.

I really liked this band, and was very much looking forward to a full-length follow-up album. I guess I will just have to cherish my EP.

Did they never do a full lenght album? I thought they had.

Hey, you never know... maybe they'll get back together and finish the album someday.

No Thomas, no full-length album from the band. They did record a 4 song EP titled "Umlaut" that they released themsleves back in 2005.

I have the Umalut EP, and I even have a CDR of their Live Clams & All disc that one of the band members sent me back in 2006. Can't remember if it was Randy or Justin.
