Nice interview, cool to hear him discuss the deplorable music scene that is in Seattle right now.

I have to confess to never being able to get into this band, mostly because of the core-ish vocals.

The vocals ruin Demon Hunter for me as well. I wish they'd just sing!

If they just sang I would love them. I have their most recent album, I just can't get into the whole thing. On the songs where the vocals are clean they sound great. But other than that it's just hard for me to enjoy them.

I'm quite keen on Summer Of Darkness, that is a great album. I just find the lyrics a bit 'deep' or 'hidden' or 'cryptic' or whatever to understand. I only have their first 2 albums, and it is down to the vocals and it's a bit too modern for me that I don't have all their stuff.

Still they have some great tunes, and I hope they continue for quite a while.
