| OK, yesterday was the one month anniversary of my nephew Ryan passing away from brain cancer. It was a bit of a downer day, but last night as we were setting down to eat I got a call from my sister. She put her son on the phone and he told me that he had been to Awana's last night and had been talking to the leader about Ryan dying. Devonta, my sister's son, has really struggled with Ryan's passing, perhaps more than anyone else. They were the closest in age with Devonta being a bit older. Anyhow, the leader talked with Devonta for about Ryan dying and going to Heaven and then she asked Devonta if he would like to ask Jesus into his heart so that some day he could join Ryan in Heaven. Devonta told me that he had asked Jesus into his heart at that moment and they all rejoiced. Devonta called my brother Chris, Ryan's father, and told him and Chris told Devonta that Ryan was probably leading a parade celebrating Devonta's decision to accept Christ in his life.
God is continuing to use our family, I won't go into more details just yet, but He is working. My book will be here today and start shipping and I have sold almost the entire first printing. I have already ordered a second printing.
It has been a difficult month, but it is so incredible to taste and see that the Lord is good. |

In time of deep grief He shows us He is with us.
What a wonderful praise report you have written about how God worked this out in the life of Devonta.
This all shows me that nothing in God is coincidence, but he planned this all with care.
God has it all under His controle. |
