| Any fans of this band from the 90's? Mostly CCM with a few choice metal cuts thrown in. I really liked their "Love" album. I'm listening to it as I write this. There are two songs on this album that have always been such an encouragement to me. | Quote: | My Son
When Billy had just turned eight He was all alone in a boat By his house on the lake He laid back as he closed his eyes And he drifted off to sleep
He awoke to the sound of crashing waves His boat was a million miles away And just when he thought he'd seen the end He heard his father's voice again, he said...
Son just take my hand Rest your feet on solid land Keep your eyes laid on me Don't be swayed by the sea And I will lead you home
You know that I live for You But sometimes I get caught in the storm And I fall You know when I'm in that boat And the world comes seeping in
Sometimes I start sinking in the sea Sometimes I'm in way too deep for me Sometimes when I'm crying out for fear I hear You whisper in my ear, You say...
Son just take my hand Rest your feet on solid land Keep your eyes laid on me Don't be swayed by the sea And I will lead you home
|
and I also really love this one...
| Quote: |
Fields Of Your Life
When I see Your face within my dreams, I wish that I could be forever in my sleep When I wake, another rainy day is more than I can take, then I hear You say,
Run through the fields of your life, I'll never leave your side Just keep your hand in Mine Run through the fields of your life, and in the end you'll find I was with you all the time
I know You're with me everyday, and You're just a breath away I need Your strenght in me today, I need You
Run through the fields of your life, I'll never leave your side Just keep your hand in Mine Run through the fields of your life, and in the end you'll find I was with you all the time

Their metal songs were pretty solid, even if a good bit funky. But they knew how to play a good hard and heavy riff. |

| Their first CD was a lighter version of Extreme. They were going for the same sound but never quite got it down. The 2nd CD was a mix of some groove metal and CCM tunes. I don't think that the label really new where to push this band. I got to see Imagine This open for Bride back in '94. _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!" |

| I have their first one, and I still listen to a few songs off it. Thanks for posting those songs, I haven't heard them, but I appreciate people sharing lyrics that they enjoy. Their sound was kinda' all over the place. I really enjoy a very short classical guitar instrumental on the end of that self-titled cd. |
