Redemption is the only White Heart album I cannot listen to.
How 'bout some seriously old school stuff like "Hotline" or "Don't Wait for the Movie"?

I still think Freedom is the best Christian Rock Album ever released. That whole album is just classic and "Over Me" is probably my favorite WH tune. Really can't go wrong with WH. How oh How I wish this band would get back together and rock. Always awsome in concert and just all around talented

Don't forget Emergency Broadcast. I got lucky and found that and Don't Wait for the Movie on cd.

You guys call those "old" Whiteheart? No, no, no...go back to the self-titled and Vital Signs...those are "old" Whiteheart. The s/t would probably not make most of you happy, but there are two great songs on there. Vital Signs was a GREAT album, though again probably not to most of your liking.

I don't really care for Redemption either, but other than that, they didn't make a bad album. I like some better than others, but they never made a bad one.

In my opinion, ALL Whiteheart is OLD. Sure, some of it's older than others, but they have been gone for 12 years now.

With their first two albums, those were just not my cup of tea. They had a lot more in common with Hall & Oates than the rock they did in the late 80's/early 90's.

I like everything in the Rhic Ric Rick Riq Florain era. I just think that band was just talented all the way thru. I can even handle Redemption thou it most certainly wasn't thier best. Hard to believe it's been 12 years. They basically went on Hiatus when I got married.

I have the s/t and Vital Signs on cassette and Hotline on vinyl. Some good songs, but not my cuppa, really.

I almost bought Inside one time at a music store in Dallas, but opted for Whitecross - Flytrap instead.

Inside is a terrific album, and its title track is as close to heavy metal as WH ever got. That song ROCKS and the guitar solo in the middle slays. Go get that mp3 from Amazon or iTunes... you won't be sorry.

I would have like to seen them make a disc that rocks from start to finish like Petra did with J. and Hyde. The one thing that I did not like about Whiteheart was the number of slow songs they put on each album.I saw Petra and Whiteheart with Grammatrain. There was this guy sitting beside that was really disappointed with the concert. He only knew the soft music that he always heard on the local CCM radio station. In concert Petra and Whiteheart rock as hard as Whitecross, or Guardian at the time

I like the WH ballads. Petra's not so much.

I much prefer the modern heavier White Heart like Inside and Redemption. They're all good though.
