Band and a solo career.

Are there many members of a band who started a solo career?
I know Michael Sweet started a solo career.

Phil Keaggy, Pete Stewart, Dale Thompson, John Schlitt, and Rob Rock just to name a few.

Rob Rock immediatly sprang to my mind.
Seems like singers tend to do this much more than other band members.

Paul Alan from Nouveaux. His first album was very poppy but his 2nd album was more along the lines of Nouveaux.

Glenn Kaiser had Rez/Resurrection Band and is doing his own thing now.
