Apology

I know everyone here was reading the "ATTN: Bridgestone Employees" thread where my brother & I seem to be going at each other's throats. I deleted the thread completely. Here's why:

1) It was meant to be a joke thread. We were going to really make you all think that we were in a heated arguement both on and off the board. But, it went from playful to viscious really quick--even if it all was meant to be a joke.

2) I got to thinking about what would happen if a non-Christian read all that. What damage would we be doing?

So, with those in mind, I shut down the thread completely. DELETE. Poof. Gone. I apologize if our joke offended anyone. I just cannot, in good conscience, keep playing that game.

It's good to joke with each other.
And very wise to delete this thread.

You know your brother better than we all do here.
You and your brother understand each others humour.
On a forum it's not always possible to read between the lines.
Things as this can easily start to a fight thread.
That doesn't belong at a Christian forum.

When I read it I really though sabidoo was really mad at you.

It's OK to be mad on each other, but never to long and you always have to forgive each other.

Hey, we're all imperfect humans.... but that was a good call on your part. We should always strive to be holy no matter what - that's what Jesus asked us to work towards in our walk.
However, sometimes showing our realistic human sides are what brings people to Christ ! (that's what led my wife to accepting Christ, by seeing my real side and not some fake "holier than thou" tv preacher type of believer)

I wondered what happened to that thread. I figured you guys were joking but the further it went I started thinking maybe they really are mad at each other. Glad all is well!

But I agree with Alldat, probably not a good idea (much like my failed handicapped child jab at Sabidoo, that nobody thought was funny except for me).

Believe it or not, aldat and I discussed your "crippled" kid at that time. I thought IF you had one, that that would have made the irony even greater.

Also, since yall think I truly am sick, twisted and perverted (i am tho) I was gonna ask Chris to take it down today anyway. A certain person here was SURE to have gone off the deep end had he not.
