I bought his new blues album. I couldn't finish it. It was painfully bad except for the couple of songs they did lyric videos for. You all might like it, but it just was bad in my opinion. I have quite a few demo recordings and have even done some less than stellar sounding projects myself. I can handle rough production and even some lackluster writing or performances. This wasn't even that good.

Dale needs to slow his roll and quit renting himself out for so many projects. It's about quality, not quantity.

I listened to it, didn't hate it but it wasn't grabbing me like I hoped him doing a blues project would. He needs to slow down.

At one time I remember thinking it would be cool to get Dale on an album. Then when he started selling himself, I realized that it became too much. Also, I think he is not recording his voice the best way, and it sometimes sounds a little flat.

Sometimes it comes off as monotone as he will sing a single note for most of a verse on a lot of songs. A producer would have forced him to do something different.
