Kelly doesn't do a lot of shameless self promotion (like most of our musicians here....hehe...just kidding, we love hearing from our resident musicians). Wink

So it's always good to know what is going on in the Lordchain camp despite where the news comes from.

Except for their debut which was a bit more traditional metal, EVERY Lordchain album is just dripping with groove. They have consistently put out quality releases. Some I love more than others, but there isn't really a bad Lordchain album. Soulever is still my favorite, though. The grooves are there, the leads are there, and lyrically it is brilliantly done. Kelly has a great voice and is a killer drummer. Drumming isn't as easy for him as it might be for some as he is legally blind. Oh, he can see, but not very well at all.

I enjoy that about them as most CCM has abandoned groove in their music.

While I used to like some of the modern worship scene as the labels seemed to let the artists truly be artists and even play rock, that is gone. I even love the worship EP that Lordchain did as they did some acoustic stuff and some rock stuff. They did some original and some cover tunes. They just had fun with it and the album, while musically diverse, seemed to flow naturally like a church service should. I am hoping that their next worship EP will be the same way.

Thanks everyone! Jen, I'm honored you would take the time to share our music here or anywhere. The song Hold On To Me is the only ballad on the new album (just so you know, lol). We have some pretty thick groove on this project. The next praise EP is a little more rockin' than the first one & has less acoustic guitar. It will be free to download when it's done. I hope you all enjoy both projects.
