Oh wow!

I want to find, if I don't already have it, that original Motherlode album.  I like that a lot better than a lot of the XT material.

Some good stuff there. I have never heard of any of those bands! Modest Attraction stuff is pretty good. Did they go on to be someone else? When I first saw that "Whiteness" album cover I thought "That doesn't look like WhiteCROSS is that some kind of early demo?". Then I re-read the name. Haven't listened to all of them but want to check out those bands.

Modest Attraction was the band that Christian prior to him being in Narnia.  This was a band started by Christian and his brother.  Sorry--names are escaping me at the moment.

Charizma was great even if they only had one full length CD.

Motherlode was a side project of Sonny Larsson of XT.  They have a newer album out that I did not know of.  The original came out in the mid 80s and was re-released on CD by the same label as XT was on.

I haven't looked to see if I actually have the Motherlode CD.  I think I do, but I might be mistaken.  I found a download of it online.  It reminds me of Europe.  Not bad at all!

Motherlode was originally a secular band in which Sonny was the only Christian, and since he wrote the lyrics

... That original album came out in 85/86(??)

These albums aren't just for streaming, folks!  They are slowing working their way to digital releases on Amazon and iTunes.  I just bought all the Borderline EPs (Christian from Narnia's early band) and an early album from Charizma.  This is gonna get expensive!!!
