And that her wedding day will be a wonderful day for her and her family.
It was fun that Levi and Thijs were here, only sleeping didn't go very well this time. I've been more up in the night sitting with Thijs who didn't want to sleep. The wedding went really well (thank you).
Sorry to hear you had to stay up late with Thijs. Grand kids are great, but not so fun when they won't sleep. I imagine it was beautiful, Gary. Weddings are islands of happiness. Love em. Who would want to sleep, Yvonne? Thijs was probably thinking, "this is so neat! Hanging out with my Nana is the BEST and there is NO WAY I'm going to miss a minute of it!" lol May you have sweet (and uninterrupted) dreams tonight.

| Thijs was sleeping in an other bedroom and was looking around and around. Yep Jen, Thijs loves it to hang out with Nana. We're having lots of fun making funny noises.
(Sorry for talking so much over my grandsons.)

| Never apologize about talking about your grandsons, RV. You're a proud Nana. Of course you want to talk about them. I can't speak for everyone else, but I love to hear your stories. Just imagining you goofing off making funny noises is like imaging Staybrite dancing with a fake microphone in his living room. Brings a smile. : ) | |

Jen is right. This thread is for whatever random things you want to share whether it is about your cat, your grandsons, your day, or just a silly thought that popped into your head. Keep sharing about those grandsons! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Nice! Do you get anxious every time you see a car pulling out/in driveways and such? In college my roommate accidentally drove the two of us off the side of a hill and it was a pretty gnarly crash. (We were miraculously unhurt.) For quite a while after, I would get very anxious whenever someone else drove me somewhere and would dream of cars careening off of cliffs and such. | |

| I definitely look around more as I'm running. Fortunately, I live across from a park that has a trail in it so I can run over there without have to watch out for too many cars. | |

| Last week I was walking with Levi and Matsi. We walked in a darker place of the road. There are a lot of trees there. I had told Levi what animals there are in the trees. Bird, squirells.
So I asked Levi: who lives in the trees"?.
He had a big smile on his face and told me: "Wevi" That's how call calls himself.
That was the first joke he has made.

| I have been taking some extra training through the school system. I am getting recertified in TCI training which stands for Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. It is a system of de-escalating someone who has come under some sort of stress and trigger which can lead to some bad behavior or violence. It is useful also with dealing with co-workers, family members, etc. With the training, though, comes a more physical side which allows a student who has become violent to be restrained until their anger/violence subsides. In Tennessee, restraining a child is meant to be a last ditch effort to bring a bad situation under control. Also, only those who are TCI certified are legally able to assist in a restraint should one be necessary.
I have to go ALL DAY on Saturday to learn all of the proper restraining techniques that are all hands on. There are no use of straps or other devices EVER. Handcuffs can only be used if a SRO is involved and is making an arrest. I will get battered and bruised during this training. I let my certification lapse in 2015 and am only doing this because our special ed department is urging us to do so. Fun, huh? | So how does that type of hands-on training work? Do they have an adult be the restrainee?

We all will practice the restraints on one another. You will be both restrainer and restrainee.

Is it only one Saturday, or more? It was just the one Saturday. I have had to go after school on 4 other days the past two weeks. I go again Tuesday night to test to see if I get my state certification.
