XT return!

It seems like XT are doing a new album (called Saved By The Blood)!

Anyone know any more?

Well since it looks like we aren't going to see another Leviticus album any time soon, I would be more than happy with a reuniting of Stigsson & Larsson.

I did find this article which makes it look like the album could be released in October....but nothing else.

I thought they looked old on the last couple of XT releases!   


I want to hear some samples, but I'd be willing to spring for this most likely.

This is what I've found on Björn Stigsson FB page.

I found the track (I Will Follow You) on Spotify and listened to it.  It's a slower paced but still heavy song, the guitars are heavy and the keys are certainly present.  Sony sounded a little shaky at first but he seemed to kick in on the chorus.  Not at all bad, probably a bit of a grower for me.  If the rest of the album is anything like this I will probably dig it.

For those who don't have Spotify, etc there's a gorgeous sample of "I will Follow You" on Bjorn's fb page (https://www.facebook.com/bjorn.stigsson). I don't think the single has reached all distributors yet though. It's supposed to be on i-heart, but when I went looking, it wasn't there yet. I'm going to try again next week. Some services are slower to post than others.

I don't think most of the world outside of the U.S.A (and possibly Canada) has Spotify....which seems a bit of a shame.

Quite a few peple in the UK have spotify.  Unfortunately I am not one of them.

You can get a free version here in the states.  You will get assailed with advertisements every 5 to 6 songs, but at least you don't have to pay a monthly bill to use it to check out new music.  You can get it without the adds if you pay for a monthly fee.

I'm not familiar with Spotify.
Most of the time I listen to You Tube.

There are several streaming sites/apps you can you like Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Google Music, etc.  All of them are free but you will have to endure a few advertisements.  All have a subscription rate where you can pay to have the ads removed and have unlimited access.

Yes, it's free over here, trouble is I'm just stuck in the age of the CD.
Maybe one day I will assimilate, but they will have to catch me first...

I noticed that Dynamis posted the video for the new song on the Angelic Warlord facebook page.
So now everyone (around the CHM world) and see and hear the song for themselves.

Oh now that's just weird. There's a song on the Black Key's Turn Blue album that has a very similar sounding chorus. I never thought I'd hear those two groups singing similar stuff. Weird.

Yep, that sounds like an album to put on the wish list!

What's nice is that it's supposedly due out this month.
No 6 month long build-up.  Just "hey we have a new album coming out this month, here is a song".

I hate to say it but I wish more bands would do that.

Boone's Overstock (Matt Hunt) is already accepting preorders for this.

I'll wait till I know how to order this album in Europe.
