Still good to get an interview even if it is out of state.  Any job prospects where you might be able to telecommute?

Well, the one if PA is really promising as is the one in IA.  Although the area for the PA plant (near Lancaster) is a little better than the IA plant.

Well, won't have to worry about the Iowa plant.  They decided to move on.  I'll hear from the PA plant on Monday, which is the day I travel back to PA to interview with another company.

Well, I've got two companies in eastern PA that are interested in me as well as one in northern Illinois.  One of the PA companies and the one in Illinois are already checking with my references, which is good.  And I have another interview next week in Ohio for a position in Arizona Suspect

Good to hear some movement. Northern Illinois as in...? I have family in Chicago, and living in St Louis I can fart loud enough for folks in southeast Illinois to hear me.

Glad to hear you are getting interest.  Praying someone will make you an offer you just can't refuse.

Well, the Arizona job is off the table but I did get to meet up with GothDad (Jeff Bradshaw) while I was in Ohio.  It was good to see him Smile

I've got a second interview with a company up in the Twin Cities area next week.  Plus I have a phone interview with a company in St. Louis today and another on Wednesday with a company that I interviewed with earlier for another position.  And hopefully I'll hear back from the PA companies soon as well.  The state unemployment is about to run out (which wasn't really that much to begin with but it was something).  So if I don't have anything solid, I'll see about getting some part-time work.  We shall see.

If you end up coming to StL, let me know - maybe we can meet for lunch or something.

What is this "choir practice" you're referring to?

Well, I got an offer from a company in Lancaster, PA which looks like where we'll be going.  There's a small chance that a company with a facility in Texas may come up with something but it's relatively small.

Bidding WAR!!!!

I'm very happy to hear you got an offer, but I'm guessing you probably would prefer to stay in your new home in TX.  Will Mrs. TTDR be able to find a new job relatively easily if you move to PA?

She's already submitted her resume for several academic library positions in that area of PA.

That's good to hear.  Really hope you enjoy the new job and can both settle into a community you will like.
