The CD of Thieves & Liars is in the stores on January 22nd.

I don't do preorders, but I will be looking to pick it up when it gets released. I wonder if they will have mass market distribution?

It looks like they are being distributed by Facedown Records. So, this will probably be available at least in the Christian bookstores. You might even find it at Best Buy.

It has something for everyone, which I'm sure some will complain about ("pick a genre and stick to it!"), but it's a solid concept album on the life of Joseph. Even though several songs are right up alldat's aisle, he may sleep through the half of them that exceed 6 minutes.

I hope it's only one song.
To be honest I am not a fan of long songs.

If it's a style I really love, then long songs don't bother me. But, when a band seems like they are just adding length to be filling time, I find it as annoying as adding boring bonus filler.

I like the songs on the MySpace page well enough to preorder this. At $9.99, that's going to be hard to beat.

No, 6 of the 12 songs are over 6 minutes. 2 of the 3 on myspace are longer ones.

I am really bad about this. Lots of songs remind me of other songs.

Listen to the begining of "When Dreams..." and start singing "Call Me" by Blondie Smile

. Even the first instrumental break sounds like it.
