| Anybody on SwapaCD.com? I have 5 credits and there's nothing there I really want. I want to sell them but the minimum is $3 and if there's someone here who could use them, I'd rather go that route. | |

| Never used it.
I got burned several years back trading on another site (that I can't even remember the name for). I was still owed something like 5cds worth of trades and the site decided to change over to something else (I think they changed to and MP3 purchase site, and then tanked).
Wait, now I remember it was called Lala. Alldat used to be a member there as well, along with at least a few other people at the CMR. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I got bitten for around 20 trades at LaLa. I wish that a class action lawsuit would have come out of that. If they had given us 20 downloads of albums we wanted, I wouldn't have minded.
I am a member of SwapACD but haven't had much luck with it. I also use Music Boomerang but also don't have a lot of luck.
Heck, I have trouble swapping stuff on my own message board! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Oh man that is really bad. I was still getting requests for cds for several months after my "trade gap" but refused to send out any more until I had recouped at least 2 of the 5 I was due. - alldat wrote:

| I've never used it, but I recently scored several hundred CDs from a dude at the swap meet. Upon observing the cases on many of them, there were stickers that said SwapaCD as well as another one called CDTrader. So, apparently these companies "purge" their stock every so often. How this dude obtained them, i don't know. But he sold them to me for 5 bucks a box. Each box had around 150 CDs, and I bought 7 boxes. Yeh... crazy eh ? Out of them I scored myself about 300 GREAT titles including several Christian albums. About another 100 I ended up giving to some family and friends. The rest I took to the thrift store and dropped off. I'll tell ya, there's nothing more fun than a grab bag of random albums ! I had so much fun | |

| With SwapACD, there is no "stock" to dump. They are merely a broker that allows you to set up wish lists and list your own stock. You do the shipping. The company never touches the disc. I am going to say that dude you bought from probably swapped a lot and was just purging titles he had already ripped to MP3 and couldn't swap again quickly.
