I don't think he ever was a member. Another one that has been MIA for quite some time is Wcott Saters. But he is MIA even on his own forum these days. I get what Pastor Brad is saying too. I'm very much a fan of the classics. I am not interested in ANY new music unless it is new music from a classic band (Saint, Bloodgood, etc) or a NEW band that sounds classic like Chaotic Resemblance. And I am not willing to change. So I guess I'm not "with it" any more but I hang around there to keep the 80's metal flag flyin'.

It is good you are aware of this tendency of yours, but make sure you have it well leashed before you say "I do." More often then not when the Mrs. is complaining about something she does not want you to fix it, she just wants you to listen. On the other hand, if she wants you to fix something she will bring it up more than once, something we men call nagging when our wives cannot hear us! Don't try to fix the former, make darn sure you do fix the latter!
As for this:

You do and I will sabotage Ed Force One! Noted! Veronika's very good about communicating her feelings and desires which I think will go a long ways in helping for a smooth marriage. But I will definitely try to be aware of making that distinction. As for Ed Force One... well I guess I'm sticking here then! I couldn't risk being at fault for anything bad ever happening to the best band in the world! - alldatndensum wrote:

Thanks Chris. And likewise about friendship. Actually, I consider EVERYONE a fiend early in the morning so no judgment from me there haha! - messiaen77 wrote:

- As alldat stated the music discussion over there is a little more dark-metal leaning when I am more of a Bloodgood, Whitecross, Barren Cross kind of guy. So I stay to talk about the older bands for those that wish to discuss it. But as he said, there are two bands in particular that get mentioned over there and it gets so crazy and heated it runs people off. And I am talking about 2 bands whose band members used to post there. I feel one of them was run off when he was promoting his latest release. It was like people were criticizing him for releasing it under "X" band name instead of a solo release. I mean who cares? How important is it? I felt he was really unfairly treated and none of us truly know the man. I feel he was made very unwelcome there. The "other" guitarist/vocalist I am referring to hasn't posted in a long time but people take shots at him too. I am assuming he is busy with his band at this time and is too busy to post but I always enjoy reading about what they are working on and i am glad they are still releasing new music that sounds like classic metal. And I don't know why certain people (I don't even know who) will jump on either of those guys when they post. I am convinced one of them will probably never come back because he was made so unwelcome there.
I think I know who you are talking about, but in case I'm wrong, I'll just use fake names. Ked Tirkpatrick did show up recently to comment on some Black Sabbath tribute album some folks did. He mentioned that he wasn't run off. Swichael Meet will be back around when it is time to plug the new work.
But I agree, the treatment of these folks has been less-than-Christian at times. Well, Ked and Swichael aren't exactly the most easy-going and non-divisive characters either... Regardless, it baffles me at how some have treated them; we as Christians are called to be above reproach and treatment like that does not seem to fit in that category...

I noticed this too. Swichael tends to jab at times, starting threads with questions that can serve as raw meat among hungry dogs. - kerrick wrote:

Sadly, there is often little difference between a group of Christians and a school of piranha, especially when there's a little blood in the water.

Um, I think that might have had a little to do with the banning from CMR. While it was done to be funny, I don't think that the leadership there found it to be. It comes off as little more than a tantrum after getting your toys taken away. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I was actually thinking the poop to weird was running a little behind schedule.

I was actually thinking the poop to weird was running a little behind schedule. I was actually thinking that referring to poop and a little behind in the same sentence is kinda weird, especially if its running.
