| Looking at Jim's want list, I saw these two classic demo albums. This band had the chops back in the day but never garnered the label attention like Guardian, Whitecross, or Stryper. I've always felt they could at least have been big in the Christian industry and maybe more if they had gotten the right people to have discovered them.
L.O.U.D. put out two albums: "It's True" and "Stand On The Rock". I have them on CD-R that I bought directly from Pat Bratcher the guitarist. These were only officially released as cassettes and I don't even know if you can get them from iTunes or not.
If I can get a decent remaster on them, I'd be willing to share if no one can find them elsewhere. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I remember hearing both of the albums at some point and remember the first one sounding very rough (recording quality wise)...but a great sounding band with some cool songs. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Both albums were demos, so of course they had some roughness. They still sound, at least to me, as good as some of the Intense Records early catalog. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| That sounds good. I like it when you try to make a decent remaster of the L.O.U.D. albums. | |

| Oh, man! The remasters sound amazing! They are louder, crisper, and really polish up these two full length demo albums released by brothers Frankie and Pat Bratcher.
You know the drill. If you want them, PM me if I haven't already sent you something. Since these are out of print I don't expect many people to have originals, feel free to hit me up. I am uploading them to Dropbox right now, so it could take a little while.
If you love 80s style metal, you will want to get these 320 kbps MP3s.

| I've got Staybrite, rockerVu2, BearDad, and Rich. Anyone else? You won't hear a remastered version, or any version, anywhere else.

If you like bands like Stryper, Scarlet Red, Holy Soldier, etc., then you are in for a treat. I will warn you that you will have to turn the bass DOWN in your car. The drums and bass were originally mixed high in the demo albums of L.O.U.D. Adjusting everything makes both the kcik drum and bass even more powerful. I have done everything I can to limit that, but you need to be prepared to feel those and not just hear them. Overall, I like it. I wish I could do more to polish this, but without a total remix, that just can't happen.

| Thanks! I've played them a couple of times now in the truck and in my shop yesterday while working on a couple of new guitars.

| I've got several more I've done, now. This is getting easier and easier. It is just time consuming to check everything in my listening booth (aka my truck).

That's me whenever a band does a "power ballad." I've only listened to one L.O.U.D. album so far, but my first impression was that it was good but had too many soft songs. When I want soft I'll listen to Barry Manilow.
I actually like their ballads. However, you can always delete those songs you don't like. At the price you paid, deletion doesn't hurt! I don't delete anything, as I inevitably regret it. If it's a song I really can't stand I just delete it from my phone and jump drive, the latter being how I listen to my music at work. I just finished listening to Stand on the Rock while out on my walk; not too shabby. I like the "hard rock hymns." Something I noticed yesterday while listening to It's True yesterday: you seem to have tracks nine and ten flipped. If you listen to nine, "No MTV", in the chorus they sing "I've gotta God," and in ten they are definitely saying they don't need MTV. So I'm thinking nine is really "I've Gotta God" and ten is really "No MTV".
