I do not have the original, and in truth didn't realize this one wasn't the original until I got it and noticed "Ulterium Records 2013"

I really like it, particularly considering it's virtually all Matt; his talents seem to know no bounds!  I understand that the current drummer for Theocracy played drums for this one, so it's not simply a remastering but also a partial re-recording? I'm also impressed with the different styles; it's virtually all prog-metal, but there's some definite celtic influence in a couple of the songs, and "The Healing Hand" really starts out like a good old fashioned Stryper song!   I am glad there are only two 11 minute songs on it; I like long, epic songs, but "Mirror of Souls" on the CD of the same name, at 22+ minutes, stretches the listener's patience. LOL!

I like their sound, but Finnish is not one of those languages I can listen to without understanding and enjoy.

^Right on. I know a lot of people MUCH prefer the re-release/recording of Theocracy's s/t but since I have the original... it hasn't been high on my list to snag the newer version. I think the original is fine for me.

Ah, I love Finnish! I think it's a wonderful sounding language and I think I enjoy it more than I would had Miriam recorded in English.

I like Michael's, but Warlord is what one might expect it to be: older guys that have been out of the biz for a while. It's good, but nothing that warrants a quick repeat on the player.

I jumped over to the secular market and bought one I've been listening to via Amazon Prime for some time, as I wanted the CD so I can listen to it in my truck. It's an oldie now, almost 20 years, and one I used to have on cassette. In fact, it's the first one I had for this band, kind-of introduced me to them ...
