Whoa, I expected to like it but that rips. A minor complaint would be the drum sound is almost muffled sounding but it's not a big deal.

Hahaha!!! Actually, the battery operated coconut was something I found funny on an old record my dad had that was about truckers and C.B. radios. I don't remember much else about the song. I just remember they mentioned a "battery operated coconut so you could bang your head".

The second part was a joke made by a friend of ours while we were playing Scattergories on Saturday night. Again, it was funny in the context of our conversation. So, I thought I'd toss those out there and see what reactions I got.

I'm only a few tracks in, and this guy's voice is highly reminiscent of Michael Sweet's. Scary! :O

There are times when he's got a little John Schlitt in there, too.

His voice is a little bit of a lot of folk, very classic sounding and fits the style well.

I actually think he sounds a bit like Kevin Dubrow but better, so the John Schlitt comparison would also fit. Actually this album kind of reminds me of Quiet Riot's "Terrified" album. That is not a bad thing.
