iPhone users, I need your help. I want to ask you if you can use your music, loaded on your iPhone as ringtone, for example when someone is calling you, for what's app, for text messages as alarm?

I've never done it myself, but I understand you can. However, you have to create the ringtone; you can't just use a full song.

What I do: Listen to the part of the song I want as a ringtone. Select Get Info in iTunes and select the time I want under Options. Left click and make an mp3 copy. Send the mp3 copy to zamzar.com and have it make a .m4r copy (.m4r is a ringtone in iTunes). It emails me the tone, I save it and add it to my library.

I don't have an iPhone, but I can use any song in my library as a ringtone...the full song, not just a clip.

I use one of the songs on my phone for a ringtone but I don't have an iphone.

When I had a Blackberry it wasn't so complicated as it is on the iPhone.
