Vocalists?

I'm looking for a vocalist for my recording project, Joshua's Creed.  The guy I had lined up isn't going to be able to do it.  I'm hoping to find somebody that is along the lines of Jamie Rowe meets Sebastian Bach meets Glenn Kaiser:  A decent range with a touch of grit.  Unfortunately, this is a Zero Budget Production so whoever agrees to do it must be willing to work for the love of making music.  Of course if there are sales, those who worked on the project will be remembered.

Is this you?  Somebody you know?  I've done long distance recording projects in the past so geographic location isn't an issue.  Here is a sampler of the music that's on the project:  Joshua's Creed Music Sampler

I'd do the vocals myself, but that would just be terrible.

I would love to help but have no way to record...and talent-wise I don't fit what you need.  I'll be praying you can find the right fit.

I have the ability to record, but I don't know if I have what you want as a singer.  I always feel so unqualified in that area.  Give me something to sing at church, and I am always confident and strong.  Step in the studio to do some metal and I feel like I suck and my confidence is gone.

However, if you want to talk about it more, I'd be interested in helping.

I'm in the same boat as a few here. I can sing, but I don't have the gift of a nice voice. What range are you looking for?

Just a decent range will do.  No need to go all out Bride but just up as needed.  More importantly is a voice that fits the music regardless of range.

I can sing, but don't have any recording equipment, be it physical, computer, or otherwise.

The ability to record is essential unless you're local to the Kalispell, MT area. 

Do you have lyrics already written, or do we have to write our own?

Lyrics are written and scratch vocal tracks have been recorded.  Are you throwing your hat in the ring Driven?

How much time do you need?

Maybe mid-August! LOL Anytime I will be home between now and then I'll be working my behind off to make sure I can not be home between now and then. After many years of very little work I have more than I can handle.

LOL mid-August is further behind than I wish to be.  I'm already way behind where I wish to be.

I know the feeling! Just got the next PO and am not done with one and haven't even started on another.
