Here is a group photo of the touring church youth group choir I was a part of back in the early to mid-eighties.

That certainly looks like a picture from the 80's

OK, I will let the cat out of the bag- I am the short guy in the middle with the long hair and glasses.  I am still short and still wear glasses but got rid of the long hair quite some time ago!

Here's me at one of my favorite spots.  It's the best beach for prayer walks.

That looks like Seaside, Oregon, but I could be mistaken.  One thing I miss about living in Portland is being just over an hour away from the coast.

Also, from a Franco-Ontarian youth meeting I had in May… I was in the Music category, which is basically several randomly-assembled 12-person bands who choose and prepare a song in 24 hours, to perform it live before hundreds of youth. This was my band (I'm the guy on the right, with the tuque):

That sounds like fun DBF!  What song did you play?  How did it go?

I'm actually not sure what it is that I was standing on...  I call it "the barge" but am not sure.  It's all concrete and rusted metal, has some holes/cavities inside of it, and is really quite cool in my opinion!  I love dilapidated structures like that.

There were 8 girls there, so the guys didn't have all that much choice.

Btw, I've met the girl who wrote the song… She came to my school on tour, so I said hi (I had already seen the show somewhere else).

 Here's a shot at church from the middle of the crowd during our Vacation Bible School......I'm just to the left of center stage with the black bass.

Man, I wish I could still play bass in church.  Our church just does not want to budge in that direction at all.

Those who resist change will eventually die off.....hopefully the church can survive their fuddy-duddyness.

I was looking at some structural beams in an old building in downtown Seattle yesterday and their back parking lot had a great picture post card view of the Space Needle towering over the roof the EMP museum....so I took a picture.
