No, we aren't a big group of extreme metal fans.  However, there is some chatter here occasionally.  go ahead and post it if you want to share something.  You may find that a few like stuff that is not traditionally spoken of here.

I'm one of those who likes everything. I mean everything.  I predominantly love Classic Rock/Metal from the 70s and especially the 80s. But I also like some classic extreme as well, from AILD to ZAO to Living Sacrifice and everything in between.

Strike up some convos on extreme music and you'll have some here who dig the same stuff. But like everyone else has said, the majority of us here love that classic rock/metal sound.

I so wish I could go! While I have been moving away from hardcore lately, I've still been into the heavier metalcore like Saving Grace. Also on constant spin in my household are My Epic, Everything In Slow Motion (formerly Hands) and Those Who Fear.

Unfortunately, going to that show would be a massive undertaking since I'm in Michigan.

I did notice that.  Sadly that seems to be the trend for more than one or two people in the last several months.

I did it not because I saw a problem, but because trusted people cautioned me. I have this motto in life which I sometimes follow, and that is that if a trusted friend tells me something, even though I may not initially see what they are referring to, I at least owe them the respect of checking it out.

I know where you are coming from. Same here, I haven't posted anywhere in a while mainly out being too busy.
