| Nope, it's not a Christian metal or hard rock CD. It's not even metal or hard rock! Heck, it's not even a CD!!  I won it last night at a Pheasants Forever banquet. OK, "won" isn't really the right word, as what I won was the auction. I knew there would be some nice prints there (it's a print on canvas, not an original), so I saved up some money ahead of time, hoping for an opportunity like this. Never mind how much it was; suffice it to say my wife's response was "WHAT!!??" when I got home. Fortunately, we're pretty much a "his money, her money" couple, so she couldn't get after me too much.  The artist is local to SD, though about three hours from me. It'd be cool if I could get her to sign it, even though it's just a print. Here's her bio. If you look at some of her other work you can see she uses very vibrant colors and pays a great deal of attention to detail.

| There just don't have any space big enough in one spot. Every wall in the basement either has a picture already or has a lamp, vent, set of shelves, or some other object making the available space too small. Guess I'll have to get a bigger house!  | |
