Below is a list of things that can only be said to a group on Thanksgiving.
IF you feel my post is "dirty" then you need to go away because you are a REAL pervert.

Quote :
1. Talk about a huge breast!

2. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.

3. It's Cool Whip time!

4. If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!

5. That's one terrific spread!

6. I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.

7. Are you ready for seconds yet?

8. It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?

9. Just wait your turn, you'll get some!

10. Don't play with your meat.

11. Just spread the legs open and stuff it in.

12. Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?

13. I didn't expect everyone to come at once!

14. You still have a little bit on your chin.

15. How long will it take after you stick it in?

16. You'll know it's ready when it pops up.

17. Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!

18. That's the biggest one I've ever seen!

Ok now this is no joke.....
My wife buys this 20+ pound turkey (that's more than 9 Kilograms for those of you on the other side of the Atlantic).
After it is cooked I am standing there trying to figure out how to get it out of the pan. I grabbed this giant cooking spoon and rest it under the wing end of the bird. I grab my large bbq fork an insert it in the cavity under just under the breast at the other end and start to lift.
My fork snaps in half, the bird doesn't budge an inch. I grab another large serving fork and start again. The fork starts to bend over 90 degrees, again the bird does not budge an inch. Finally I put on an oven mit and just shove it in the cavity of the bird and hoist it out of the pan and onto the platter.
The oven mit is now throughly soaked in turkey juice. I look at my wife and very seriously ask her "Do you think we should put this oven mit in the laundry?"

A turkey of 9 kilo?
Wow i am impressed how she will cook that silly bird?
That must take a long time.
I've once tried to stuff a turkey and cook it that was a fight between the turkey and me.
It's very nice you remember those at the other side of the Atlantic Gary.

This is why we use a roaster with a built-in lifting system. Cool

Very good Idea TT.
I think we just need to start getting smaller turkeys. I have eaten leftover turkey for 2 meals a day for the last three days.

Yes but you are a lousy shot.
And your blunderbuss was full of bacon. All it did was soil my shirt (but it did taste good).
