Fast Forward

Subject: Fast Forward Tue Sep 16, 2014 1:03 pm

1985 hard rock/metal band put out one LP called "Message for America" - Apparently it's impossible to find an original copy of it. I got to say though - THIS is a HIGH QUALITY rock album that could have become a household name had they kept it up.. not sure how it slipped through the cracks.

Anyone else heard this album ? If not, and you want to, I can upload it.

I want to say I've seen that album cover before but I have no idea where. Upon giving this a listen I probably would have liked it back in high school but now, not so much.

I'm a little surprised you haven't heard of LnJ - they are (or were) an all-star type band, that was mainly composed of guest musicians. In fact, alldatndensum played a few bass tracks for LnJ.

Actually, you can get a bootleg copy of this through Retrospect Records as I have a copy. It will be a while before I can upload the songs, though. Heck, I still need to upload DuBiel for our former member Tall Tyrion from a swap we did weeks ago!

How did the bridge on your bass get messed up so fast? I've had my Fender 5 string for 22 years and it has all original parts. Most show little to no wear.

I don't know if I hit it or something, but the metal parts that hold (well, held) the A and D string balls in place are bent and will barely hold their strings. I'm going to have to order a replacement online. Interestingly, both my guitar teacher and a guy at Guitar Center in MA recommended the same brand.
