Pilgrims Prog

Hi, I was recently contacted by an artist about reviewing his progressive rock concept CD called PilgrimsProg, which as I am sure you have already guessed is based around John Bunyan's classic "Pilgrim's Progress".  The artist in question is Scott Miller and he has released a second CD entitled "Do You Have Thanatophobia".

He sent both for review purposes.  Uncertain which one to review or if I should review both.  Also considering writing one review that covers both CD's.

In terms of specifics, I would hesitate to label the music of Scott Miller as progressive rock but rather a joining of hard rock, classic rock and progressive elements.  Vocals remind of Phil Keaggy.  I think "Do You Have Thantophobia" is the better produced of the two.

Pretty good stuff, almost a Rush vibe at spots.

I enjoyed listening to his music.
