Favorite song from Petra-Jekyll and Hyde (2003)

And finally!! Petra goes back to the hard rockin sound that they had 15 years before. There are so many great songs here, but the only downside is that the whole album only lasts just over 31 minutes. The debut album is even longer than this one. Other than that, great album. I'm picking Test of Time as my favorite.

I remember this one coming out but didn't listen to any of it.

There are some great songs on this album, it was good to hear the band rock again. I could easily picked a few songs as favorites but went with the title track.

Seriously, though, this is by far my favorite Petra CD. NOTW and MPTY were great rock albums, but with this one the guys really kicked it into the next gear. I went with Jeckyl and Hyde.

I went with the title track because the riff is my favorite on the album. While Petra rocked again, it still wasn't the same. The lack of any guitar solos really killed this for me. I hardly ever listen to this album.

I still listen to it quiet a bit. I, too, miss the guitar solos. I'd love for the guys to redo this and add those back to the songs. This kinda comes off as Petra's version of Stryper's "Reborn". Throw some leads on it, and the fans' perspective changes.

Solid release, if a little short! I also picked "Test of Time", but this is one of those you can easily listen to all the way through!

"Jekyll & Hide" has gotten my vote.

Title track as well, although "Sacred Trust" really resonated with me too. Funny thing, I was listening to my ripped copy and opened up the album on my computer. After "Sacred Trust" I heard a song that sounded like a return to "Lucas McGraw". Turns out it was "Ragged Old Truck" by Johnny Paycheck. I wanted to pick that one.

This is the only Petra album I own. I love the title track. Like AllDat this would be even better with some solos. I never cared for Petra. This album is my favorite by them. I also enjoyed the live show they did a few years ago on TBN but I am just not much of a fan.

TOT is the heaviest thing they've ever written if you ask me...

Definitely their heaviest album. Loved it. I went with the title track.
