| VOLUME ONE: "STORYBOOK LOVE SONGS" That include the names of the couple.
In Jack & Diane by John Cougar he sang about a specific man and woman in love and told their story.
List every song you can think of with "Couples" in them that are NAMED. - (preferably songs that are not filthy or involve affairs).
This is what has been submitted so far (and will give you a good idea of what kind of songs I want for this list): _____________________________ Benny and Sue (resurrection band) Jack & Diane (John Cougar) Jeannie and Johnny ("The Party's Over" by Kenny Marx) Jerry and Sally ("Perfect" by Bleach) Rueben and Sue ("Two sets of Joneses" Big Tent Revival) Romeo And Jane (Tonio K) Frankie and Johnny (Elvis Presley) Jimmy and Betty ("Leader of the Pack" by THE SHANGRI-LAS) Tommy and Gina ("Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi) _____________________________ LET'S HEAR YOUR ENTRIES !

| Got some AWESOME ENTRIES so far ! Keep them coming, if you can think of anymore.
Here's what we got so far:
Benny and Sue (resurrection band) Jack & Diane (John Cougar) Jeannie and Johnny ("The Party's Over" by Kenny Marx) Jerry and Sally ("Perfect" by Bleach) Rueben and Sue ("Two sets of Joneses" Big Tent Revival) Romeo And Jane (Tonio K) Frankie and Johnny (Elvis Presley) Jimmy and Betty ("Leader of the Pack" by THE SHANGRI-LAS) Tommy and Gina ("Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi)
Very cool ! I know there are probably hundreds more, so let's hear what you can come up with. Again, they must be "STORYBOOK LOVE SONGS" ABOUT 2 PEOPLE WHO ARE NAMED They don't have to "end well", they can be any genre, any decade, either Christian artists or Mainstream... LET'S HEAR SOME MORE !

| Brenda and Eddie from Billy Joel's Scenes From and Italian Restaurant
A lot of songs are generic or only mention one name.

So that would be Janis and Bobby....no wait Kris Kristofferson wrote that one...so technically it would be Kris and Bobby. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I can think of a few Mike Oldfield tunes, but they contain no names and are about, like, affairs and stuff. I hate love songs, anyway, unless they're good. | |

| I actually have that song on a compilation record from the 70s... I think it's called "20 Heavy Hits", with other songs like "cats in the cradle" etc. | |
