| So I bought a cd the other day from CD Baby - rather quickly I got an Email stating it had shipped... but instead of a cold, boring form letter that they send to everyone, the following is what I got:
"Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing. Our world-renowned packing specialist lit a local artisan candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, November 11, 2013.
We hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. In commemoration, we have placed your picture on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

| That used to crack me up as well. I got tired of it after a lot of orders. They need something new.
That reminds me that I haven't ordered from them in ages. That used to be my main source of music. When the company sold to a firm in Nashville, the shipping times to me drastically slowed down. Also, I started having to pay TN state sales tax which made ordering more expensive. They give you the FLAC, 320 MP3, AND 192 MP3
And you can redownload whenever you need to |

Believe it or not, I used to get stuff in two days from them. | That's a long time to sent CD in the US.
I think I've to wait much longer.
The first messege is nice, but after reading many times the same messages it's getting boring.
When you buy downloads they have a letter for this too. | |
