Theocracy debut album re-issue coming in November

The self-titled debut album from Theocracy will be re-released on November 15th in Europe and November 19th in North America.

Shawn Benson recorded the drums for the re-issue, Matt did the album remix and the mastering was handled by Mika Jussila.

Wow..really looking forward to the album..not sure if I am willing to pay $23 ($15 plus 8 shipping) for it though.

Only 10 songs...no bonus or pre order incentives...

At that point I may wait for it to be available digitally (if it ever is).

After going hog wild the last 2 years rebuying my entire collection, I have gotten to the point financially where I need to be more disciplined with the ol $$$.

For $16, Stryper has a cd AND dvd coming out..for comparison

Now maybe if Matt signed them....

Dang, $8 shipping is pretty excessive for a CD... Yeah I'm with B4L on this one; it'd be nice if there was a bonus track or something. I already have the original and like it just fine. I'd like to get this one if it sounds much different/better but I may wait until it's available for a more reasonable price...

I'm in two minds... love Theocracy, but not sure I can justify buying something I already have and love! Yes, if there was a bonus track I'd be more interested.

The album will of course be available digitally once it's released, and also through Amazon and all those places.

There's a lot different with this album than the last one, both when it comes to packaging [extended booklet, track commentaries etc.] and production. For me, this is almost like a new album since the production is so much better with real drums and a proper mix/master.

Once it comes to Amazon, I am sure I will pick up the cd.

Yeah, shipping from Europe has gone up some. But if you order enough, you make out pretty well Smile

I think I am just going to pass. While they are a talented bunch, I just can't get into this band at all.

Don't have the original, so I might as well get this version if I get it at all. Can anyone recommend some songs from it?

The whole album is spectacular and you should buy it! As an intro to the album, I'd check out Ichthus and Theocracy. My personal favorite is The Healing Hand. The lyrics to that are pretty dang powerful.

Which song would I recommend from the album??? All of them!!! Woo

The Serpent's Kiss is a standout and Sinner and Icthus are right up there also.
