Tomorrow it will be my dad's 80th birthday. Now you say why do you need to start a new thread for that.
My dad passed away three years ago and this will be a day full of rememberances. I am sure there will be tough moments tomorrow. My brother and sisters meet each other tomorrow.

My mom's birthday is always a hard day for me even though she passed away when I was only 24. I know what you're going through.

Birthday's of a mom and a dad who passed away are always tough. It really helps you understand how this day is.

My wife has the same problem. Her father died 12 years ago, on the day before Christmas. Some years Christmas can be very sad for her. It helps that the children are very happy about Christmas. But I think I can understand a little of how she feels. I miss her father very much as well. He had a very intelligent (but dry) sense of humor, and I enjoyed every coversation I had with him.

I miss my dad too. He would loved to see his duaghter playing on an electric guitar. Dad played accoustic guitar when he was younger.
