I just bought 2 albums and an EP by the band Avian. I really like it and they are awesome! Any other Fans?

Definitely a talented group. I had the first full-length but ended up giving it away...they were just a bit to prog/power metal for my tastes.

The mix on the first one was not so good. The vocals were buried in the mix. The second one just didn't interest me.
Also, not sure they should be here as they are not Christian.

Just curious, is this the same band that was fronted by Lance King at one point in time?

Yep, that's the band. I believe at least one album also featured Danny Ellefson (sp?) from Megadeth fame.

I discovered them from their review at angelic warlord. They are produced by lance king and are said to be a band with a christian world view...as many of kings bands are.

David Ellefson did do the bass work on the first record. If they have a Christian world view, you have to search REALLY hard to find it. It is not anti-Christian or anything. It's just secular is all. I have no problems with it; but I know some folks are very selective about music only having a blatant Christian slant.
