| I collect various vintage Pharmacy and Apothecary ads and products just cuz that's my career ( and cuz people give me stuff all the time)... but I thought these were hilarious. First, it's a good thing that whole Women's Lib thing happened, and 2nd, it's a good thing we discovered Cocaine was dangerous and quit giving it to our children ( at least legally). | Not likely given the whitehouse.org tag. I don't know my first lady history to know who that is, but the patent for Xanax was filed in 69 but it wasn't released until 81.
Have you ever been to Bodie ghost town in east central CA? You can't go in the buildings, but you'd get a kick out of looking into their drug and general stores.

| Matter of fact I have been to Bodie ! Unfortunately it was on my first honeymoon back in 1992. We went up to Lake Tahoe for me and my ex's honeymoon. On the way up, we turned off and went WAY out of the way to visit the ghost town.... which I'm very glad we did. | |
