| The Supreme Court ruled today in FAVOR of Obamacare and said it was constitutional as they saw it as a tax. This sets a really bad precedent for our nation in my opinion. Anyone can be the US President and enact anything they want as long as they call it a new tax.
With this ruling, the Constitution needs to be shredded and made into toilet paper because that is how the current government treats it anyway. It means nothing anymore. The gov't. now has complete control over you, your health, and how long you live. They make all the decision under this plan. We have become their slaves. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Not so brother...God has complete control over my life. He decides my health, my healing, and my exit from this planet into his presence. I refuse to pledge allegiance to this country, my state or the flag! I pledge allegiance only to my lord and savior. We may live in this world but we are aliens because we are citizens of heaven seated with the savior. Jesus said.."have no fear"! He is our God and he takes care of us! |

| I'm a bit disgusted with the Supreme Court myself....but this is nothing new. Sadly it's just another nail in coffin of the U.S. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Just another step toward Socialism. To me, we just bypassed socialism and have headed towards communism. With this ruling, the gov't. now can force you to do pretty much anything as long as they call it a tax. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| well... we can't blame politicians.. it's the people who are to blame.. we want the government to fix all our problems (and in some cases feed and clothe us) and in such have inflated the government to a size multitude greater than the founding fathers ever intended. | |

| Well, Canada already has socialist healthcare. Apparently, 10% of federal tax goes toward healthcare and over 40% of provincial tax goes there as well. Our healthcare system is sometimes abused by people who think free = go for a cold or flu. Wanna see some more stupid? http://cheezburger.com/6378328064 - Quote :

| Question...Doesn't the government already tax what they want? I am not for the individual mandate but I am glad that the court ruled it a tax..that proves what people have been saying to begin with. You only have to pay the "tax" if you choose to not have insurance. This being ruled a tax is not an Obama win but an Obama loss. As for the rest of the bill I really didn't have a problem with it. My wife is bipolar and this bill drastically improved our situation. She gets medicare and the premium went down and her copays went way down and the cost of her meds went way down and she gets better care now. As for all the company's that will drop employee insurance in 2014 that is their right. There was a time not to long ago where Jobs didn't come with benefits. Company's do not owe us anything other than a check for the work we do for them. Its that simple. I think Obamas 'executive order' thats halts deportation is more damaging. Also let me remind everyone here that the biggest violations to our freedoms came from George Bush (republican) who gave us the patriot act. Also Ronald Reagan gave us the seat belt law. This law carries very hefty fines now. Both parties have been taxing us and controlling us and what we do, eat, where we go to school, what we learn, etc. for decades. All the way back to Woodrow Wilson (who was a socialist) has socialistic ideas existed. Alot of what people call "freedom" isn't really freedom at all..but is anarchy. This "American dream" idea that most of us were taught is a lie and very anti-Christian. Earlier in this thread I pointed out that we Christians are led by God and are told not to worry. So are we gonna Follow God or not. What is more important..Your Faith and relationship with a God that is good and will take care of us or ones devotion to A country and politics? I am not a republican or a democrat..I am not liberal or conservative. I am a Christian. |
