| Sometimes being a middle aged person can be difficult. I don't understand the younger generation very much. I don't understand the older generations. (They all think the way they did when I was a kid.  ) My mother and her generation drive me insane sometimes but my kids do to. Sometimes I feel like us middle aged people are all in our own little world yet most of society is run by and looked after by us. Any of my fellow middle aged comrades feel this way? |

| Brokentulsa, I feel much the same as you do. My Dad still thinks I don't know anything...come to think of it, so do my kids! yep, middle age is a black hole and it don't look like we're gettin' out alive... |

| As far as others are concerned... NO age is ideal. That's why you gotta be happy and content with whatever age you are and the heck with what the younger or older say. That said, I still think it's a good idea for you to get a shirt that says "Old Guys Rule"  | |

You are between the younger people and the really old people.
There are a lot of people who feel like you brokentulsa.

| I was thinking the other day: 20 years ago I was in my early 20s - In 20 years from now I'll be in my 60s !!!! What a difference 20 years makes.... this life is shorter than we think !
