Hmm not sure I would have labled them as grunge, but grunge was really a rather diverse genre (at least here in the NW where it started). So mabye the tag fits (the singer at least). But hey, I don't care if they call themselves a polka band as long as it sounds good.
Music-wise it sounded rather typical of modern/nu-metal to me (at least the first track, the second track seems a little more experimental).

Looks like they just started their myspace site. I would be interested to know where they got that name. I would be up for hearing more of this.

The vocalist is definitely grunge. This has a Alice In Chains vibe, so I don't know if you call it grunge or just groove-metal. Either way, I like it.

Ohhhh there we go again is this grunge or groove metal.
I am so bad in to label bands in this.
I only have two labels I like it or I don't like it.
Think I never will learn it to give bands lables like if it's grunge or groove.

Don't feel bad Vonnie, I can't figure out what to call it either. The lines seem very blurred now, and many bands can fit into several different categories.

There are so many cross-genre names anymore. Even people who lived through the grunge era and liked it cannot decide what real grunge was and was not. When you compare this to Alice In Chains, it is grunge. But, Alice In Chains was an infusion of alternative and metal and one of the first true "grunge" acts to make it big. Then, Nirvana came in and redefined the scene by bringing even more alternative to the front of their sound. So, from the very beginning, there was a split it styles.

Yvonne's genre labels work pretty good: A) I like it, or B) I don't like it.

Oh yes there are several bands that would probably fall into this category (or close to it at least)

Sometime Sunday
Stir
Forever Tree
Torn
Wrench (at least from what I have heard of them)

And that's just what I could come up with off the top of my head.
